Collage appeals to my word play and associations. I naturally segue like crazy in conversations because I want to jump the tracks into another related set of rails. I am one of those people who cannot help but make puns, and collage rewards that ability to see connections that may not be obvious. Collage also allows me to do a bit of social criticism, and perhaps kicks the skids out from under some institutions. I've also made many collages that are about design systems in nature, another passion I explore in painting as well.
