I have an MFA in printmaking from Indiana University. That 3 year intensive program allowed me to grow as an artist, in many directions. The information I got from fellow students and instructors was invaluable. I have always felt comfortable in almost every media and the instructors encouraged that. Since I no longer have access to a press, screen printing and mono printing are my means of making prints now. I did my first woodcuts at I.U. and enjoyed the process. I then started working with wood and started making sculpture and hand made paper constructions. That led to prints in which those constructions appeared. These continued to undergo changes and an avenue of exploration really opened up.  It is all about growth and problem solving for me.
